Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA

Federal Student Aid, other wise known as FAFSA. Students can use the FAFSA to pay for college expenses like tuition, room and board, books, and meal plans. Colleges use the FAFSA data to determine a student's eligibility for federal aid, and many states and colleges also use the information to determine eligibility for state and school aid. Some private financial aid providers may also use the FAFSA information to determine eligibility.
